My friend Sarah has started a project worth following and / or participating in: to begin a dozen new ‘things’ this year, one every month, and chart what comes from it.
I was hesitant to jump in, knowing full well my disposition to bail, not follow through, etc etc etc. But maybe then, consistancy and seeing things through to completion should be one of my twelve… Right?

a blogger's manifesto
I was just carrying my wine bottle into the living room as I sat down to write a bit, and took a huge swig of my Pinot Noir- straight from the bottle. Catching myself mid-gulp, so many thoughts ran through my head:
Your mother would be so disappointed.
Don’t tell anyone you just did that.
If that’s not secret single behavior, I don’t know what is.
That was awesomely liberating.
